BRANDON RIZZO was named to the All-NJAC Team in three events during the outdoor career and five times in his indoor career. He re-broke the Montclair State and the NJAC Indoor Championship Meet record in the 500, winning the event in 1:06.09 this year. Rizzo also was a part of the 4x200 relay team that won an NJAC title in 1:31.68 and took third in the 4x800 in 8:19.16. The Landing, NJ native qualified for the AARTFC Regional Championship Meet, helping the Red Hawks tally top-12 finishes in the 4x200 and DMR events. He won a pair of NJAC Indoor Championships last season, claiming the 500 in 1:06.22 and the 4x400 in 3:29.03. Rizzo opened his career by helping the 4x400 take Second Team honors in a time of 3:23.27. He finished in the top-7 in three events last year at the NJAC Outdoor Championships, taking third in the 4x100 (43.61) and second in the 4x400 (3:27.83). Much like the indoor season, he qualified for the AARTFC Regional meet, and notched a career-best time in the 400-hurdles as he placed sixth in 54.9.
